TARDIS Console Gallifreyan Guide Part 1 by PurpleAmharicCoffee TARDIS Console Gallifreyan Guide Part 1 by PurpleAmharicCoffee
The first part of my own Circular Gallifreyan system guide, the individual letters, numerals, punctuation etc. The numbers look like little planets revolving around a giant sun. These are inspired by The Day of the Doctor.

The system is very similar to a lot of the existing Circular Gallifreyan systems out there (which are all fabulous) but this incorporates more hexagons. I spent a lot of time staring at various pictures of the TARDIS Console symbols to come up with this. Once I grasped the basic concept for my symbols, I was away laughing.

The 'Aleph' bit is for using vowels not attached to a consonant.

Make sure to download the image so you may read it in its full glory.

I have written this out as a syllabary (kind of like the Amharic sheets you see scattered around the place) and made this primarily for English. I added the German ß and Spanish ñ. Accented vowels will be devised at a later date and inserted under an extension of 'Aleph' or maybe that section will break off on its own.

Next step: how to compile these into a circle, and then making them look pretty. :)

Update: We have a 0.

I am very fascinated with Gallifreyan. I'd love to learn to write it but not sure I'd have the patience.  This is an amazing piece.  Thanks for taking the time to do this and share it with us.

BTW, do you take writing commissions?

So are you doing these for a price or for free?  Sorry for the late reply.  I'm really interested in this BTW, I think what you are doing is great.

The sentence requests are free. :) I opened them so I could practice and they don't take me too long to do.

This form of Gallifreyan seems so intricate and nice - Love how the punctuation works.
